GaiasRebirth - Fantasy Races

Basically a collection of sketches for a collaboration with
Sadly, I have nothing else to show for this week, so I might as well upload these - will be moved to scraps later, you know the deal

The idea was to come up with my interpretations of races/representatives of certain villages within a fantasy setting.
I was mostly working with already existing references, though I took some liberties here and there.
Clothing is still to be added (or not), but I don't feel there is anything particularly sexualized about this, so no Mature Content.
It turned out to be a decent practise for body-types. I'm sure I should practise that more often.


The races are, from left to right, the following (each member is usually wearing a crystal-accessoire that keeps them from turning into monsters):

Ruby Resonance:
regular, medieval humans;
they wear their characteristic crystals as bracelets or amulets;
Average body types, well-versed in crafting weapons and armor as well as overall combat capabilities.

Emerald Leaves:
peacefull Amazons;
they commonly turn their crystals into ear-rings;
Taller than normal humans, usually with darker skin and sharper features. They are Tribal-people who like to keep to themselves and build trademark-masks to hide their identity from others.

Saphire Scales:
Merfolk people;
they embbed their crystals into their arms or the back of their hands;
Very large and slender bodies, but typically more "shapely" than the Amazons.

Carnelian Dunes:
Egyptian Snake/Naga folk;
they wear their crystals below their chest;
curvy/chunky bodies, partially earth-like scales growing out from their arms, legs and shoulders;
They are mostly merchants, so they wear a good deal of jewelry.

Peridot Butterfly:
Fairies, duh;
their crystals are embedded in their forehead;
very slender torsos, but wide hips as well as some other insect-like features;
Also, they have 4 fingers and 2 toes.

Garnet Sisterhood:
a sect of Witches, composed of members of other folks that "converted" to them;
most of them have their crystals embedded in their palms;
Dominant and brutal, they use blood-magic to power their spells and generate clothes for themselves to wear (think Bayonetta, only that they use blood instead of hair to shape into dresses).
