4th Angel

my favorite design out of all the angels from the series ^^
To me, skulls and masks with beaks, that kinda resemble Plague-Doctors, always carry a certain eerie look to them.
 
I've been getting into the habit of making smaller marker-drawing in my A5-moleskine sketchbook.
This is one of several results so far.
Drawn on 2 pages (so it's really A4), which resulted in me having to edit quite a bit about the middle part to make the bend less visible.

So, not too long ago, I watched the Rebuilds of Evangelion. Good movies, definitely.
It's high quality production, so the visuals look amazing beyond meassure. Story is good, too, but hard to follow (especially after the time-skip in 3.33). I hear the original series goes a lot more into depth about the background and the development of characters, so no surprise that the narrative from 20+ episodes falls a bit short when compressed into 3 movies.
The 3rd movie in particular feels a bit rushed in terms of story development and I constantly felt like I accidentally skipped over scenes. Haven't seen the original and the DVDs for "Neon Genesis Evangelion" are kinda hard to come by (a.ka. expensive).
Looking forwards to the 4th movie, too, but who knows when that is going to happen...
